“Honda is proud of our history with the Toronto Blue Jays which started over 30 years ago and we’re thrilled to play a big part in Honda Opening Night,” said Jerry Chenkin, executive vice president of Honda Canada Inc. “We’ll soon be launching the ninth generation Honda Civic, and to celebrate we’re excited to give away a brand new vehicle to a lucky fan on April 1st.”

Ten semi-finalists will be randomly selected and through elimination draws one lucky winner will be handed the keys to their brand new Civic. The winner will have their choice of Honda Civic – Si, Sedan, or Coupe – as well as $2,500 worth of Honda accessories to personalize their new vehicle.

The ninth-generation Civic is ideal for compact-vehicle buyers in Canada – it is fun-to-drive, offers high value for money and features improved fuel economy, greater performance, low emissions and class-leading safety. These features have all contributed to the Civic being named Canada’s number one selling passenger vehicle for the past 13 years. The 2012 Civic lineup includes a sedan and a coupe, two sporty “Si” performance versions and a gasoline-electric Hybrid. The new Civic lineup will be available in Canada starting April 20th, 2011.
