2012 Jaguar XKR-S Convertible revealed at LA Auto Show

Jaguar capitalized on Southern California’s love of convertibles to unveil the ragtop version of highly regarded XKR-S coupe at the LA Auto Show.

The convertible is being touted as the fastest drop top vehicle the company has ever made. After all it boasts the same super-charged V8 found in the coupe which produces 550HP and 502 lb-ft of torque.  The package is good for a top speed of 186 miles per hour and a 0-100 kms in a scant 4.2 seconds.

With a US price tag of $138,000 you’ll be buying a fairly exclusive package as only 25 units will be available for sale in the US. There is still no word on availability or price in Canada as yet.
